should you use vaseline for female lubrication?!

Question: I have heard both ways that you shouldn't and some say that it is ok to use...
Answers:
THink about what you're putting in there. PETROLEUM jelly. do you really want that in your favorite spot?

Anyway, no matter what you choose, water-based lubricants are ALWAYS the best option, ESPECIALLY if you use a condom (in which case it's ALL you should use).

Use of anything other than a water-based lubricant can significantly increase your chance for negative effects, such as yeast infections and UTIs.

KY Jelly is a better bet.
It's not the slipperiest of possible products, but it should be okay as long as you're not using a condom.

If you're using a condom, find another product. The petroleum can dissolve the latex used in the condom, which obviously negates the point!
not really. it's not water soluble, so it leaves a goopy mess that's hard to wash out. but even worse, it's a petroleum product - if you use a condom, it can break down the latex, rendering the condom useless.
Why use that when they make so many wonderful products that work much better? Sure they're a bit more expensive, but you are worth it. But seriously, you can use it. Most women (young women) use it to lube a tampon when they are new to the world of tampons.
I would suggest using Astroglide (the warming variety) over Vaseline. Depending on your activity, taste and consistency can be important factors to consider. Astroglide is quite pleasant and I think you will be pleased with the results you receive.
no, bacteria and infections, use ky jelly and slip slide and away
NO!
KY-Jelly is best.
lots of people use it .. i have heard. In india people use Oil for lubrication..
No! Vaseline is a horible lubrication. It is an oil based lube and when used with condoms causes them to break easier.

Also oil based lubes are not reccommended for insertion into the body as they cause more irration to the walls inside making sex uncomfortable from the female point of view.
