shoes to tight, socks not letting your feet breath? How are your arch supports? maybe you need to take it easy for a while, see a foot doctor.
make sure your drinking alot of water and not taking in alot of salt. try to stay off your feet as much as you can.
I have this problem too but only when I sit to long. Try elevating your feet. If this is an ongoing problem, you should go and see your doctor. One sign of Diabetes is feet swelling. It's also a symptom of lots of other things, only your doctor can help with this. Good Luck!
Go see your Dr pronto, this can be a sign of CHF, I have no clue how old you are but it better be checked out by a professional.
It may be a problem with the way you put your foot down and put weight on it when you walk, if this is slightly out this can cause your shoes to rub the bone on top of your foot, your whole foot then swells up. For this you need to see a podiatrist, they'll probably give you inserts for your shoes (if you want this on the NHS see your GP for a referral). In the mean time, ice them when they're swollen (15 mins every 3hrs), and wear shoes that can be worn loose over the top and are more banana shaped than flat.

NB: You should probably see your GP anyway, just in case, as the other thing it can be to do with is restricted blood flow which is more serious!
