when we will find insulin in tablet foarms?!

Question:
Answers:
Never, most likely, because stomach acid breaks down insulin before it could be used by the body.

Other Answers:
never. insulin has to be injected directly into the bloodstream.
Never - it is rather delicate and would be digested if taken orally.
Nope sorry. Insulin has to be absorbed through the blood. It is unstable and can not be placed into solid form.
ahmedelsawy76 - I'm suprised there are so many people declaring that insulin will never be available in an oral form. The difficulty lies in the fact that insulin is a protein and, as a result, gets broken down very rapidly in the acidic environment that is your stomach. Also, absorption can vary significantly based on the presence of food in the stomach, so it is more difficult to deliver a predictable dose.

There ARE people and companies working on an oral formulation for insulin. Contrary to some of the previous responses, there are dry powder formulations of insulin. Various ways of getting the insulin through the acidic environment of the stomach in an intact form have been tried and there are some encouraging results. Studies in both animals and humans demonstrate that orally delivered insulin can reach the bloodstream and lower glucose. If and when oral forms of insulin will be ready for widespread use is still not clear.

Until that time, there are other ways to deliver insulin besides injection. One of these is a dry-powder formulation that is inhaled. This has shown much more promise and has already been through Phase III testing. While it appears to be effective, however, there are still some concerns about side effects and whether long-term use will be safe for the lungs. It is likely that this form (named Exubera) will be available before an oral form hits the market.
Uhm, contray to first post, insulin is injected into subqutaneous tissue, not blood stream. Quite the difference. Don't inject into blood stream if you like being alive.
since Insulin is protein, it would be digested in the stomach and not absorbed well, so the only way at present until research comes up with a way to protect it from the stomach and intestinal digestive juices is to give it by injection.
You won't. Insulin is a protein and cannot be absorbed into the bloodstream if ingested. It is usually injected under the skin and only into the bloodstream in a hospital in extreme cases. Type 2 diabetics can take pills which boost the amount of insulin their body makes but they are not effective in type 1 diabetics because type 1 diabetics cannot make insulin.
