There isn't a cure, you can only manage the disease.

Other Answers:
by living in a dust free enviroment and never going outside into the polluted air ..
Boil some ganja bush and sweeten to taste.
No lie
unfortunately no,

the best things to minimise any problems though is fitness - swimming is fantastic as it really increases your lung capacity.

check out if you are allergic to anything, yeast allergies can set off bad attacks. which for me means no more stella, gutted
athma cant be cured only asthma.
Ask doctors.
Most important, check with an alternative healthcare practitioner. Diet and exercise play a major role in our well being. Eating lots of vegetables and fruits and staying away from fast foods and processed foods can boost your health. Shop from a healthy food store, processed foods contain lots of unhealthy chemicals that interfere with our bodies, pesticide in foods can trigger an asthma attack.
asthma can be can only be treated.eather by aerosol inhaler or orally by tablets.

How about Advair. This drug is amazing for the control of asthma. Advair is used once in the morning and once at night.
asthma cant be cured, well yes but not at all,ask a doctor!
No. It can be controlled. You need to have a respitory care doctor and medicine. Keep a journal of your peakflow and what meds work the best. It is trial and error to see what works best for you just don't give up.
Asthma is a chronic condition of hypersensitivity ofthe airways. There is no "cure" for asthma, only treatment to minimize the symptoms. They include, inhalors (albuterol), oral steroids such as prednisone, and combination inhailed mantenence medication such as advair. Knowing your triggers and avoiding them can make you have less symptoms but as of now there is no cure for it.
It can be cured if you stay away from dust, garbage, roaches, filthy air, pets, certain food and pets.
Asthma cannot be cured, however with a little change in you enviroment and proper diet and excercise you will find it Much easier to control. I will include a link that i recieved about a doctor that was I think on the today show.
Thanks to Dr. McCullough for this incredible information! Be sure to read below regarding Laundry Detergents!
April 6th, 2006
This morning on NBC news there was a discussion concerning the asthma drug called Advair and the new government warnings. I felt the need to share some information with everyone that I hope you will read. I have personally seen the immediate benefits of asthma drugs that saved a young man's life that was in minutes of dying. Asthma drugs can be life saving, but like all prescription medications, there are side-effects that can be life-threatening. Doesn't it make more sense to prevent asthma and asthma attacks? I am convinced that the Asthma Epidemic of the past twenty years is a result of increased pollution from toxic chemicals, both industrial and in-home. Although as individuals, we have limited influence over the use of industrial pollution, we can make a dramatic affect on the in-home exposure by removing the caustic cleaning and laundry detergents from our homes. For those of you who are not convinced of hazardous effects of in-home clean ing products, I suggest you read the warning labels on the containers of the retail store laundry and automatic dishwashing detergents.
Making changes in the quality of the air in your home environment can make a huge difference in the frequency of the asthma attacks as well as to help prevent the attacks in the first place. What you are exposed to in your home affects your total wellness. It takes a serious accident with caustic inhome chemicals to get most people to wake-up to the dangers of what is in their home. You have a choice.read on!

Three popular medications should be used if other options fail, agency says
April 6, 2006
CHICAGO - U.S. regulators Friday asked the makers of three popular asthma medications to add new warnings to their labels stating that the drugs could increase the chances of severe asthma episodes that could result in death.
The warnings involve long-acting bronchodilator medicines Advair and Serevent, made by GlaxoSmithKline, and Foradil from Novartis AG . Patients use them daily to relax bronchial muscles and prevent asthma attacks.
Airing the Truth About Indoor and Outdoor Air Pollution (7/04)
http://www.lungusa.org/site/pp.asp?c=dvLUK9O0E&b=107829
Air pollution affects everyone. You can't hide from it, even inside your own home. Just consider these facts
The Environmental Protection Agency ranks poor indoor air quality among the top five environmental risks to public health. Interestingly, five out of 10 Americans are not aware of this fact. (Source: American Lung Association and 3M survey, 2002.
Levels of air pollution inside the home can be two to five times higher (and occasionally 100 times higher) than outdoor levels. (Source: Environmental Protection Agency, 2002)
Asthma, which can be triggered by either indoor or outdoor air pollution, annually accounts for an estimated three million lost workdays for adults and 10.1 million lost school days in children. Asthma costs our nation $12.7 billion in health care costs annually. (Source: American Lung Association, Trends in Asthma Morbidity and Mortality, 2002)

ClevelandClinic Researchers Link Decline in Lung Antioxidants to Asthma Attacks
Feb. 5, 2000, issue of The Lancet medical journal.
Researchers Serpil Erzurum, M.D., and Suzy Comhair, Ph.D., documented declines in the concentrations of the antioxidants in lung fluids from asthmatics.
"When oxidants overwhelm antioxidants, tissue injury and disease results," she said. "Our studies show that chronic asthma features decreased levels of antioxidants in the lungs, and the decrease is markedly worse during acute asthmatic attacks. These results support the role of antioxidant/oxidant imbalance in the deterioration and injury of airway tissue in the lungs of asthmatics. The findings highlight the importance of testing new therapies for boosting antioxidant levels in the lungs of asthmatics," Dr. Erzurum said.
Treatment for Asthma or Prevention of Asthma
Asthma attacks can be triggered by numerous causes, but it only makes sense to eliminate as many of the sources of the problem in an effort to prevent it. After reading about the warnings on this group of asthma drugs, switching to safer home cleaning products, and especially laundry detergents is critical to reduce or help prevent asthma.
Consider the Following:
The major laundry detergent manufacturers estimate that over 35 billion loads of clothes are washed every year in the U.S. and it is estimated that there are more loads of dishes washed every year then loads of clothes. The EPA is stating that there is more damage to our oceans from detergents then from oil spills. Although some of the laundry detergent manufactures are beginning to eliminate the phosphates, there are still thousands of tons of other caustic cleaning chemicals going into our rivers and oceans every year. Unfortunately most people don't realize there are safer, more effective cleaners and detergents that are available that are equally if not less expensive. Not to mention the fact that these products are manufactured in the U.S. Minnesota has banned the use of phosphates in automatic dishwashing detergents. Check the label on your dishwasher detergent and see if there are any phosphates listed. I suggest that you also read the warning labels while you are at it! The warnings on their labels are serious. The warnings on Ecosense products are minimal to none!
Refer to this website: www.saferforyourhome.com if you are concerned about you health and want to learn about environmentally safer products that are not only more effective but also more cost effective than the store brands.
Laundry Detergents
Consider what 99% of the U.S. population does when they do their laundry every week. They assume that the detergents they use go down the sewer and are removed at the water treatment facilities.
A study by the U.S. Geological Survey of our nation's rivers, including the Boise river, has revealed what some researchers fear could be a growing problem with a whole new set of contaminants.
The BoiseRiverhas some things in it that may surprise you - steroids, household disinfectants, deodorizers, and even hormones.
The US Geological Survey has been testing for this new breed of contaminants in dozens of rivers across the U.S. The USGS performed test on 139 sites in all, three of them on the BoiseRiver.
These detergents and caustic chemicals not only affect our environment, they also affect your respiratory system. Most laundry detergents and fabric softeners do not rinse completely out of your clothes with every wash? Think about the chemical residues that are still on your pillow cases, sheets and clothing after they have gone through the wash, especially in the cold winter when your warm breath is breaking down the residual detergents on your pillow case. If you are having problems with itching irritated skin, headaches or respiratory problems like asthma, changing to a non-phosphate, not alkaline laundry detergent like MelaPower and MelaSoft will make a major difference and save you money in the process.
For those of you who have either read or watched the story about the Bassett hound in Portland, Oregon, that bit a hole in a bottle of liquid laundry detergent and then laid in the detergent, you will understand the point that I am trying to get across.

Chemicals Associated with most Laundry Detergents
Phosphates- (phosphorus a fertilizer that causes algae to grow depletes oxygen in the water causing fish and marine life to die. A large portion of the gulf coast, where the Mississippi Riverdrains is devoid of most marine life. due to all the fertilizers and chemicals that have polluted this river.
Chlorine Bleach (Sodium Hypochlorite)
Lye (Sodium Hydroxide)
Ammonia
Phenols
Fillers
NTA's
An assortment of toxic chemicals with un-pronounceable names like Nitrilotriacetic
Acid (NTA). The Merck Index refers to NTA as a substance we may reasonably anticipate to be a carcinogen (cancer causing substance.)
Why are these caustic ingredients used in laundry detergents? Because they soften the water and enhance performance. Phosphates and other caustic ingredients contributed to the virtual death of Lake Erie in the 1970's. Melaleuca Inc. has never used phosphates and caustics for over 20 years in their home hygiene line of products! They have also never done any animal testing on their home hygiene products.
Ecosense products should be in everyone's home.
Exposure to Cleaning Products Boosts Asthma Risk
Journal of Thorax; Nov. 2003; 58:950-4
Exposure to cleaning products may up asthma risks. It seems that people who work cleaning other people's homes are at increased risk of asthma, suggests research in the November issue of the journal Thorax. The rates of respiratory symptoms attributable to work among domestic cleaners were more than double those of other jobs: 12% among current and former cleaners; 5% among those who had never worked as cleaners.

"The high risk of asthma attributable to domestic cleaning suggests a
substantial public health impact, which might be even greater if we take into consideration that housewives and others doing cleaning tasks at home are probably also at risk."

Household chemicals linked to kids asthma
The chemical compounds that keep our leftovers fresh and make our floors easy to clean may be a factor in the rising levels of asthma and allergies in children around the world over the past 30 years.
Five million U.S. children have asthma and 10 percent to 20 percent of infants have eczema, the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America reports. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates the cost of treating asthma in these children at $3.2 billion per year.
An extensive study of Swedish children found that house dust containing the softeners in plastic that give flexibility to food container, vinyl floor tiles a cling wrap is associated with higher rates of asthma, eczema and other allergy symptoms.
The compounds, phthalates (THALL-ates), are widely used in moisturizers, nail polish, insect repellants, shower curtains, hairsprays and building products such as polyvinyl chloride flooring

Asthma Drug May Actually Boost Risk Of Deadly Attacks, Cause Heart Trouble
June 22, 2004
(USA TODAY) -- One of the most commonly prescribed medicines to treat America's 16 million asthmatics may actually make asthma worse and contribute to heart problems, two studies find.
Shelley Salpeter of Stanford University says daily doses of beta-agonists may increase the risk of a fatal asthma attack and more than doubles the risk of cardiac events such as heart attacks.
Salpeter and her team reviewed studies from 1966 to 2003 of asthmatics taking beta-agonists. They found that patients who took the drug daily developed a tolerance and had more inflammation in their lungs than those not taking the drug at all, making them more susceptible to a potentially deadly attack.

Cleaning products may raise kids' asthma risk

THURSDAY, Aug. 26 , 2004 (HealthDayNews) The fumes emitted from home cleaning products and solvents may increase the risk of childhood asthma, according to a new Australian study.

The study included 88 toddlers with asthma and 104 without asthma. The children were tested for allergic reactions, and their parents filled out detailed questionnaires about the children's health.

Researchers at Curtin University of Technology in Perth also assessed levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the children's homes. VOCs are found in cigarette smoke, cleaning products, room fresheners, polishes, fitted carpets, solvents, paints, and floor adhesives.

Indoor levels of VOCs were much higher in the homes of children with asthma. The highest asthma risk was associated with benzene, ethylbenzene, and toluene.

The study authors concluded that their study, though small, supports their theory that exposure to indoor pollutants early in life may be an important factor in later development of asthma.

The research was published Thursday in the journal Thorax.

In another study, researchers from the University of Sydney found no association between the current use of indoor heating appliances that emit fumes and the development of respiratory problems in children. But the researchers did find a 47 percent greater likelihood of wheezing and hyperactive airways among children who lived in a home with this type of heater during the first year of life.
