You need to look for a BMI (body mass index) chart. They may be available on some internet sites, try typing BMI into a search engine. Otherwise a doctor can definately help you with this.
age is neglected. only height and weight. it's called the biomass index. you can have yours checked here http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/calc-bmi.htm actually, they should also consider the bone structure and the primary composition of the body: fats or muscles.
"Using our body mass index calculator, you can figure out if your child is at an appropriate weight for his or her height. The BMI calculator also works for adults!"

I think the formulas are designed wrong, I am supposed to weight 140 to be in the normal range for my height, but I weight 190. I am in no way obese as I can run 2 miles in 19 minutes do 35 push ups in 2 minutes and 50 something situps in 2 minutes. I wear a size 14 that I don't consider big, I am an athletic person, and these charts do not account for that. I always use the male one because it allows muscle weight.
If you're American, I think you have to add like 300 pounds, but I'm not sure.
