Black on gum after tooth pulled?!

Question:
Answers:
How long ago was the tooth pulled, gangrene takes a long time to set in. Is it a blood blister or dried blood? You might have a nasty infection. If you don't want to go back to the dentist your local pharmacist will be happy to take a look (I always go to mine first.)

BTW gangrene is caused by a lack of blood to the area.

Gang Green. Go to the emergency room QUICK!
Bruising it should go away within a week. If it dosen't see your dentist.
After the last guys remark about gangreen it is most probably not ganggreen. Black marks are sometimes just bruising in the gums just like a bruise on your skin. I would recomend you seeing your local dentist tho.
just keep bushing it should come of in a week or so if no contact you dentist
i dont know
It's one of 3 things:
1.Blood clot - leave
2.Food debris - rinse with plenty of hot salty water
3.Amalgam tattoo - leave
Yes. i got a tooth pulled and my gum was black too but that is only because it is a scab in your mouth
It's just a bruise it should clear soon

please please don't brush it, that will lead to bleeding again..
try to avoid hot food and drinks, vigorous exercises and stress, smoking & obssessing with it ;) i.e just leave it alone :P
try to keep the area clean though..also warm salty water mouth wash should help
