Tanning question.?!

Question: ..when tanning is it better to turn over every other time I go in or is it better to stay on my back everytime?
Answers:
If you are going to tan, definitely turn over. I prefer the stand up tanning booths.

Other Answers:
dont tan at all because you can get skin cancer.
Yeah - every time you tan, you increase your chances of skin cancer DRASTICALLY. You'll hear people say that its safer because it gives you a base tan to protect you from the sun, but it isn't true. Someday, you'll look back and regret tanning. It just wont be worth it. If you don't heed this advice, you don't ever need to to turn. Thats why the bulbs are on both sides.
Definitely better to turn over and be at different angles in the bed. It will help prevent getting white spots.
I lay on my back, but my tanning bed has a top and bottom.
I usually turn over half way through the session every time I go. And I sometimes lean a little onto my side to get all areas. Just depends on which bed I am in, and how my tan is looking.
if you are going to tan/yes turn over every ten minutes
I know this girl- well she's 31 now- and she was sooo gorgeous 10 years ago, I mean.jealousy-invoking gorgeous. She's always tanned.and to look at her now- she truly looks 10 years older. Wrinkles, wrinkles.it's sad. She regrets her tanning days in a huge way. :)

Turn every 10 minutes.sounds more and more like you're roasting a turkey, huh?
Go to a stand up booth if you must go.otherwise stay away from the tanning booth.not only does it cause cancer.for us vane people.it causes premature wrinckles and age spots.YUCK!
When I tan in a tanning bed I am sure to coat the entire body with tanning lotion. Then raise your arms above your head for part of the time to keep from staying white under your armpits. I also lay on each side for about 3 minutes and then on the front for half the remaining time and on the back for the rest of the time. If you are tanning outside turn so you don't burn about every half hour. They have found that tanning is not good for us but I understand it is hard to give up that nice brown glow.
When you tan, either by sun rays, or by artificial ways, like tanning beds, what you are doing to yourself is ROASTING yourself, much like the thanksgiving turkey. I am not trying to be funny. Ask any health professional, and they will tell you the same thing. The problems you will have down the road just isn't worth it. You run the risk of developing skin cancer, but even if you don't get cancer, your skin will turm into a leathery texture, which I assure you, you will not find in the least bit attractive. Heed these words, and avoid problems later.
Staying on you back can cause your bottom side to get darker! you are closer to the bulbs and therefore tans you quicker, plus you will notice a white spot occurring from the pressure of laying on the bed. You should try the stand-up instead of the lay down bed. If your tanning salon does not have one then just flip over.. do half the time on one side and half the time on the other. ALSO you are no going to get skin cancer if you tan in moderation.. if you BURN then you put yourself at risk for skin cancer.. over-exposure is not good.. so use moderation..

Tanning makes you look sexy and brown but it causes premature wrinkles you will look old before your time.
