Question:
Answers:
I am not quite sure what you asking. Do you want to know if swelling or diarrhea are side effects of asthma medication in a nebulizer? I have never heard of these two side effects using a nebulizer. I do know that some of the meds can make you a bit jittery, but that does pass.

Other Answers:
Im on Albuterol and have experienced neither.
Many bronchodilators have the POTENTIAL side effects of increasing the heart rate as well as causing the person to shake. With people who feel these side effects, they usually disappear in 10-15 minutes after the nebulizer treatment is finished. Xopenex is a newer medication that has less potential for these side effects and we use it more often with people who have cardiac conditions. I haven't heard of diarrhea being a side effect of a broncho dilator.maybe the use of nebulized steroids could have this effect.or an oral medication. This is something to discuss with your physician. What "swelling" are you experiencing? People who are on steroids daily often develope a puffy look.is this what you are speaking of? As you breath better your physician will slowly have you back off of the steroids and that puffy look will diminish/disappear.
