what is a boil and how does someone contract them?!

Question:
Answers:
It is usually caused by either a staph infection of general bacteria on the skin. Some folks are susceptible to the bacteria that notmally lives on skin and it can create boils. Normally, if you are susceptible to it, it is because you have a low immune system..also, if you are having recurring boils, (in addition to taking a multi vitamin) you can take silica and it will take care of them in a week or two...continue to take the silica, though to keep them gone!

Hope this helps!

Other Answers:
Some people call these 'car buckles'. A boil is a large puss filled growth, much like a zit only 10 times larger.

It is formed almost in the same way as a zit. The dirt and oil from the skin, causes an infection in a boil though.

Many people have these as a genetic factor as well.
