Answers:
I was always skeptical about whether or not anxiety attacks existed until I had one. I had just completed divorce proceedings after ending my 12-year marriage. I thought I was having a heart attack. My heart was racing, I was sweaty, anxious and could hardly sit still while I was in the waiting room at Urgent Care. I was a little embarrassed when I got my diagnosis, but its just the body's way of coping. If they happen to you a lot, you should definitely tell your doctor. You usually feel like you've been hit by a mack truck the next day too. It takes such a toll on your body.

Talk to a professinal.. either a psychologist or your family Dr. "They have medication for that" There are ways to control panic attacks. your Dr will help!
You should most definitely seek professional help, but from personal experience I will recommend Gaba Root. It is all natural herb that has a calming effect, comes in many different formats, i.e. pill you swallow, lozenge you suck on or root you make into tea. I have used it, very safe, no side effects and it does help with anxiety attacks..but I would still see a professional.good luck
I've had anxiety attacks on and off for twenty years. I've learned to ignore them. They won't kill you. Believe me I know how hard it is when you feel like you can't breathe or your going to pass out. However, I also found that panicking makes them worse. It's your body. Tell yourself this when it's happening. You control it and you will not let this monster control you! Good Luck!
The best advice I can give would be hypnotherapy. You can ask/find out more at the website link below (http://forum.hypnosis.com/forumdisplay.php?f=11). Basically, in hypnotherapy, you can be helped by changes to your subconscious and emotions, so you don't panic in certain situations. Please visit the forum and ask the experienced practioners for their views. You will find plenty of others with similar issues there too. Good luck.

You need to speak to a counseling professional if you are having anxiety attacks in order to identify the source and root cause of this fear. You might feel better if you get a complete physical examination by your doctor to rule out any condition that could cause you to have shortness of breath, apnea or lung congestion: conditions that could bring on a fear of dying based on real symptoms. It would also be good for you to deal with your attitude about death and dying AFTER you get these panic attacks under control.
Become more physically active. When you exercise and get busy on a daily basis the anxiety attacks will lessen. Other body functions take over, ie you are tired, need rest, and your body will have no energy to focus on anxiety.

Also doing some extraordinary things to feel brave and free from crippling fear. Go to a bungee jumping centre, learn to water ski, try some in line skating, all things that are physical and build confidence. If you are too mature for active physical activity volunteer for people who are in trouble. Lose yourself in others. Lastly befriend briefly, people who you think are having a bad day or are troubled. You can just say ''hello'', ''nice day isn't it?'', ''do you need any help''?. Learn to be brave rather than die a thousand deaths because of anxiety which robs you from being the very best you can be...good luck.
Go to your doctor and tell him/her about you anxiety attacks he/she can give you something for them
go to doctors or ur GP and have x-ray and other tests.
i deal with then for 3 years my meds dont work anymore just deal it is in no way harmful
