Question: my friends cousin is sexually active with her boyfiend. She has not received her period yet..and she did the pregnancy test and it came out positive! Is there a chance she is pregnant?

hello ? it came out positive that means that she is pregnant! ! now it could be wrong and she might not really be pregnant but by what you wrote she is definatley pregnant.
I know there are false negatives (my friend has some disorder where her pregnancies only show up on a blood test--she can be visibly pregnant and all pee tests show she isn't), but I've never heard of a false positive. She should go to a doctor and have a blood test.
