2 years used to be possible in the U.S. or Canada,(graduated certificate), but now most institutions offer that program in collaboration with a M.Sc.D. These programs are excellent and have formed a lot of leaders in orthodontics. In Europe, Norway, Sweden and France are know to have good programs. While Norwegian and Swedish programs extend normally over a period of three years, in France it can be much longer. The cost of living in any of these countries (especially Scandinavia) are high and may not be suitable for you.

A 2-years "good and cheap" orthodontics program is probably not a reality. Before you get involved in any program, check with your national board if you'll be entitle to work as an orthodontist after your education!
