I met a man at my grandmother's funeral who enjoyed all of his food burnt. He even told me he liked coffee because it tasted like burnt milk, as to which I told him I'd hate to have a steak at his house.

I think he got hit in the head or something when he was younger.
you have terminal dumbassitis
pregenancy...just a thought
Prader-Labhardt-Willy syndrome
Allotriophagy: which is for unusual foods.
I know what it is but am having a hard time remembering. I will get back
Sounds like some sort of vitamin, or mineral deficiency in the person. But there are some, especially mature adults who prefer burnt food because they were raised that way. They may have grown up at a time when there were several issues dealing with conditions that required the food to be well cooked that became burnt.
I'm not sure if this comes under 'medical condition', but do know its the body's natural response/reaction. Your body is lacking in charcoal
Cancer, and stomach olsers will form if to much burnt food is consumed. This is a major problem today, since many people like burnt things. If you are eating any, I suggest you stop before it's gets serious, and maybe eat only a little, like once a month.
