Unfortunately, yes. I unintentionally hide things from myself all the time. I waste more time hunting for things that are put away for safe-keeping. (I have a 2 year old and everything gets put away, otherwise I usually find it behind the sofa cushions or in the laundry hamper.)
i'm not even 18 yet, and i do it. a few weekends ago i took of my class ring and put it up becuse i was about to do my hair and didn't want to damage it. i only just found it yesterday. or maybe it was the day before.

I do that all of the time. thats why I let the kids know where I put stuff. they can find anything quick,fast and in a hurry.
