Yay, I'm not the only one! Have you noticed that happens less in the Winter? It's mostly allergy related, my dentist said I have an extra bone in the roof of my mouth that is common, and that, with the addition of allergies, even if you don't think you have them, the "skin" there strethches, gets tiny little tears and then itches when it's healing.a fast solution is to lightly brush the roof of your mouth so that you don't ake any more tears, rinse with Listerine, and then rinse or drink sips of ice water. If all else, fails, and if yours seems worse at night like mine, take a Benadryl allergy---awesome stuff and gets rid of it completely! this only happens to me maybe once a week during the spring.summer and maybe once a month in the winter

Haa ha..I get that too! I have no idea what causes it, but it'd be neat to find out. i just rub my tongue really hard against it to make it stop.lol
thats a cool question..haha i usually just take a spoon and gently rub it on the roof of my mouth :) i have NO idea tho what causes it.
drink a lost of water.if that does not help then you should go to a dentist
I have a french tickler tongue ring that gets rid of the itch no problem. If you don't have your tongue pierced then I don't know how to help you.
Scratch it! That is, use a toothbrush with paste and brush it at the same time you do your teeth; which should be 3 times daily. Actually tho, if this is a continuing irritation you could have a condition that needs to be examined by a physician. There have been cases where the palate develops a hole, etc.. I would have it checked out if this is a long-term problem. Myself, I brush with a mixture of baking powder and table salt. Not only cleans the teeth but also the gums. Takes care of gingivitis, etc
