Has anyone out there been diagnosed with a case of benign MS?!

Question: Looking for others who have been diagnosed with this to compare notes.
Answers:
I am not sure what "benign MS" means and I'm an R.N. Maybe they're telling him that it is in the early stages? However, how did he get diagnosed? I'll tell you that it is difficult to diagnose. There are so many other diagnoses that get overlooked, one in specific, can be Lymes' disease or some other tick-born disease. So did he have the right tests done?Bloodwork? The best way to tell is not just symptomatic but also in a spinal tap. Not the easiest thing to do, but well, it does help in diagnosing it. My brother-in-law has it, but he is trying a no fat, protein diet instead of the traditional medicines. It's best to first make sure you got diagnosed properly and then, get the proper help that works for YOU! I will say a prayer, I know when you first hear about it, it is shocking. Be strong!Don't take a "I can't do this or that attitude!" I've seen as a Nurse, the more people stay positive, have a great support system, and keep moving forward.....the better they do! Good luck!

I have never heard of benign MS.
MS is progressive and it will always get worse as you get older. The sysptoms are progressive.
Some people have more time than others and they have some new meds out that can help some.
