I'm seriously not making fun of you, I'm seriously trying to help.

If you are *already* eating under 1000 calories a day, and you *still* are wondering how to lose weight (this is what you said, so that's why I question your English) then you have a body image problem. When you look in the mirror, you are not seeing what everybody else sees. Everybody else sees a toothpick.

If you really do have an eating disorder, it's not a joke, it's very dangerous. It is also insanely hard to cure, so get help and keep at it.

If it was just an English problem, don't worry, 1000 calories a day and you will lose those 13 pounds pretty quickly. As the other person said, 3500 calories to a pound, and you probably burn somewhere around 2000 calories a day so you are looking at losing a pound every two days or so.

keep doing what you're doing. it takes a while.trust me. i lost 50 pounds doing the not eating a lot thing and whatnot. it works.but sometimes you get stuck at a certain weight for a while.and it seems like you're not going to change it.but it does change..just give it time.

girl, don't worry about losing weight. eating under 1000 calories a day? Start eating a balanced diet and exercising. You should be eating more, so start eating normal-sized meals. Instead of junk food (chips, pop, candy, hamburgers), eat sandwiches with meat and cheese (protein), and drink milk, juice, and water.

Don't get too obsessed with losing weight. That's not the most important thing in life. Anyone who does not accept you because of your weight, is not a true friend anyway.
be careful about eating so little! when your body starts taking in too little calories, it goes into a mode where it hangs on to everything you eat, and makes it harder to lose weight! make sure the food you are eating to make up the calories are veggies, fruits, etc, (not sugar and fat laden foods) and exercise hun! wont lose without exercise!
it's called anorexia. and you can't eat less than 1000 cals a day and still lose weight.

if you really want to do it right eat about 1200 cals one day and 800 cals the next, keep your body guessing so it doesn't go into starvation mode.

seriously though, it is NOT healthy what you are doing. I am a recovering anorexic. one of the signs is not eating mroe than 1000cals a day and not losing weight.

You may need to eat more, some time the body holds on to body fat due to it thinks it is starving, the average diet is 1500 to 2000 calories. How to find out what you need to eat is for female times your desire weight by 10 and men x 11. eat lots of high fiber foods such as apples, carrots, Brocloli , oats, High fiber foods will help I am at my low end of my weight, I eat on a average ever two hours or less, my portion are small, about 1/2 cup, it give my body something to do while it is burning off the food, Plus chili peppers are in my diet, it help burn off the food. avoid processed foods and junk food, fresh food, lots of salads and lean meat, add some extra work our time to you day, such walking on you lunch, a few minutes here and there will add up you don't have to do all your work out at once, you body does not know the different, and drink lots of water, eat cucumbers also, that will help you loose the water your body may be holding on to, remember fat weighs less the muscle, go by how you look and how your clothes fit verses the scale. good luck
