Pin worms or thread worms are hardy critters, most common treatments for children contain Mebendazole which is a naturally occuring amino acid that blocks the uptake of sucrose by the worms leaving them imobile so that they can be passed through the gut. I know it sounds terribly chemically (if thats a word) but Mebendazole is found naturally in various brachia (cabbages) however it is broken down by cooking, eating the raw heart of a cabbage was the common cure for worms however the side effects are pretty nasty, complete bowel evacuation within half an hour of eating it, stomach cramps etc. Also persuading a small child to eat it in the first place would be near impossible anyway. I'd stick to the propriatory treatments that are normally made up as a milkshake or fruit cooler as the symptoms of worms can be pretty nasty.
First of all how old is your baby? if he less than two years Mebendazole is not recommended ,if he older you can give it to him but this depends of the type of worm he has.a doctor consultation is good idea to give the right medication at the right dose

Forget it! If you want to get rid of the worms, see a regular doctor for Mebendazole or something like that.
Only allopathic treatments are appropriate for a condition like this. If you use snake oil treatments and with hold medical treatment for your child, you are committing child abuse. Likely, you would be arrested and your child placed in protective custody.

I asked a friend who is a pediatrician professor. She advises you take your baby to a pediatrician; a regular doctor does things per the average weight of age groups(example: group two is between ten and twenty-five lbs) The best advise is to take your baby to a pediatrician; they treat each baby as unique, prescribing drugs per just the unique baby presently being treated. It is your baby; don't waste your money and risk the heath of your baby on the misguided advise of what works for baby A will work on baby B.
I am not sure of the homeopathic cures available but I did want to let you know that pin worms as a general rule are obtained when a child plays in the dirt.
They get the pinworm larvae under their fingernails and thusly chew on them at a later time and ingest the larvae.
Pinworms crawl out the child's rectum at night to lay more larvae and in doing so cause a tickling sensation that causes the child to scratch and later chew on their fingernails etc. . .A vicious cycle.
Whatever treatment you use,PLEASE always remember to keep the fingernails under treatment too,even if only with continuous soap,water and a nail brush. This should probably be kept up as a life long habit. Just because we aren't kids anymore doesn't mean that we don't stick our fingers in our mouths after they have been places where we can pick up pinworm larvae.
