Is anybody familiar with La Mer skin care line? If so any experience?!

Just that it's sold at high-end stores like Neiman Marcus. I've found that a lot of expensive skin cares are no better than just reommended regime of cleanse, tone, moisturize and use sunscreen 2 x day. I've wasted lots of money on these high-end cosmetics.
