I've had the same clothes for 10 years what do I wear to a reunion?!
Question: I have limited dress clothes because I rarely need them.Two suits with blazer/skirt,one black ,one navy blue and 1 pair black pumps. I need a good look for a 30 year class reunion. I am 5'1",128lbs coke bottle shape,large top small bottom,brunette,no gray hair yet but long and straight since high school.Help! I have no idea what to wear.It's been years since I have bought new clothes.I'm lost! The invite says dressy casual, now what does that mean?

For the clothes, I'd go for something basic, like a long black skirt or slacks plus a colorful top. something that looks good with your eyes or skin. Rather than a jacket, I like to use shawls because they're a lot more casual and they are different.
For jewelry, I like to do something young. This is where you can go creative without looking like you're trying to be 16 again. I like a modern necklace and earrings set, not pearls or a pendant on a chain. See what's being sold at the costume jewelry counters and pick something unusual. You might even try dangly earrings. Pick a fun style.
For shoes, go with cute sandals with a two-inch heel. Make sure you get a pedicure, and don't wear stockings with sandals.
Since you're busty, you can go with a v-neck as long as it isn't showing too much cleavage. The object is to be sexy without looking like a hooker. I like black clothes for several reasons. They make you look thinner, they look like you paid more than you did, they're always in style, it's an elegant color, it pairs with many other colors to change the look, and it hides all those little bulges that are usually visible with lighter colors.

Dressy casual? Well it depends if its at night or in the afternoon but think Banana Republic, Club Monaco, J Crew - all these places have fabulous dresses that are casual and hip and not hooochie. If you prefer something a little more basic/older then Ann Taylor - but personally I think that looks a little too stuffy, sometimes Anne Taylor Loft has good dresses, skirts.
Try on a bunch of dresses, skirts, tops and pick something that just makes you feel super confidant. The last thing you want to think about at a reunion is if your look is holding up. But this is also not a time to play it safe with your favorite black outfit! Make an impression.
Maybe get a fresh trim on your hair, possibly an updated cut? (I have no idea what your hair looks like now but just can not be any 80's flashback going on)
With a larger top maybe a strapless dress is not the best idea but there are some super cute sophisticated ones out there this season. And with a cardigan or cropped blazer they look very pulled together..

You should wear a pants suit and show some cleavage. That way you're showing off your best assets and your lower half won't disappear under a skirt.
