diabetic retinapathy is a condition that effects the eyes in a diabetic. It causes tiny tiny blood vessels to break and bleed. This causes floaters or specks in the visions. Left untreated it can cause blindness. If you suspect it get to a opthalmalogist right away. It can be treated if caught early with laser treatment. The lasers seels the broken vein so it stops bleeding. My mother had this and the treatment. She always said it didnt hurt and it saved her vision. Good Luck.
