it depends on who the guy is. kinda middle tho, normally like, no longer than the chin, cuz then it's just girly. lol
if a man can't take care of his hair it doesn't matter short or long, he looks rough. Long hair can be very attractive if a man takes care of it right and his face accents nicely with the cut, and a man with a shaved head can be very sexy if it fits his attitude and facial features. It is also all in the way a man carries himself. If he is confident in his appearance it makes all the difference.

It just depends on what works for him. A lot of guys look best with short hair, but there are some guys who can wear long hair and look great. But I don't think hair that goes to the back looks good on any guy. The longest should probably be around the chin, or a little bit past that point.
