Need a good simple diet to gain 20 pounds or so.?!
Question: I'm 6 foot tall and weigh about 150 lbs (male). I eat a lot of foods that are high in calories and protein, however, I just can't seem to gain the extra 20 lbs I'm looking for. Could someone help me w/ a good diet that is realistic for a person working full time. I excercise as much as possible, but is usually just push-ups and some free weights.

well pre cook your meals the night before, and put them in boxes u can take with u to work.and u have to do more working out, because u dont want to gain fat u wanna gain sexy muscle.you would do something like this
diet: 5 to 6 meals a day, drink lotz of water, take 2 protein shakes a day, one shake after workout is a must with a banana!
protein: egg whites, chicken, tuna, fish, steak
complex carbs: brown rice, yams, whole wheat breads
veggies: asparagus, green beans, broccolie, other green veggies
healthy fats: olive oil, peanut butter, any type of nuts, omega 3's (fats from salmone is really good).
workout: maybe u can work out 5 times a week! ur workout plan would go soemthing like this:
monday: chest, back, shoulders
tuesday: full body circuit workout
wednesday: biceps, triceps
thursday: full body circuit workout
friday: quads, hamstrings, calves, and glutes
sat and sunday: rest ..abs every other day

Resistance and weight training are easy ways to gain weight and if you eat a protein diet while you are lifting you'll gain it all in muscle.i used to be 90 pounds and now im 135 pounds and it only took me a year of weight lifting every other day.it might cramp your schedule a bit but the girls notice ya alot more
To gain more weight add a little more food to ur diet than usual. Add about 200-300 extra calories a day to ur diet and i am pretty sure you will start gaining weight. Dont eat alot of fat tho. Hope this helps!
The best thing to do is go on a diet. Cut back on your intake for a couple of days then go back to eating regularly. This tricks your body and then you will gain weight.
