how to get the stomach pain to stop if an ulcer?!
Question: my stomach is killing me it started when i ate at a fast food place and now i cant get the pain to stop i have tried Rolaidsm, gaviscon and asprin and nothing is working.

Don't take aspirin if you have an ulcer! Aspirins are an anticoagulant, they can make you bleed from your ulcer, and will also make your stomach pain worse because they irritate.
/aviod spicy foods, drink milk or eat bread to absorb some of the acid your stomach makes, eat slowly, chew your food well, over-the-counter meds like pepsid ac, zantac, work better than tums and maalox, but aren't as quick. try combo of both.
if not relieved, or gets worse, see a dr. there ar many prescriptive meds available. you may need antibiotics or carafate.

FIRST OF ALL UVE GOT TO STOP THE ULCERS..DONT EAT A LOT OF HOT THINS..AVOID OILY STUFF TOO.EAT ALALINE THINS LIKE LEAFY VEGGIES AND BANANAS ETC.DRUGS LIKE RANITIDINE AND CIMETIDINE HELP..MISOPROSTOL HELPS TOO ALSO U MAY HAVE NEUTRALISING AGENTS LIKE ALUMINIUM HYDROXIDE AND SODIUM BICARBONATE..TETRACYCLINE HELPS KILL HELICOBACTER PYLORI(THE ULCER CAUSING BACTERIA)..U HAVE TO UNDERGO A MULTIDRUG TREATMENT.JUST CONSULT A GOOD DOC.COS THE PAIN JUST GOES ON GROWING..
