What is this sharp pain on the top of my head? It comes for a bit then leaves an!

Question: Not a migrane or tension headache- just random shooting pain.
Answers:
It could be a cluster headache. They tend to center themselves on the top of the skull, and they are FAR more painful than a tension headache (usually men get these, but women can). If the pain continues, you ought to see a doctor. Cluster headaches can be caused by anything from stress to carbon monoxide poisoning, so it's best to get checked out.
