How do you get a flat, tone and good looking abs?!


Question: Ok really, no commerical hypes and products. can someone who personally has a "six pack" tell me how do you get muscular abs? what's a good formula to follow?
Answers:
You have to both reduce fat and build muscles. You can do crunches and other abdominal exercizes from now till the end of eternity and still not have a six-pack unless all the fat from your mid-section is gone.

To get a six-pack, do several types of abdominal exercizes daily: most gyms have several machines which isolate and work a specific set of muscles.

To make sure your tight abs show, reduce your body fat through diet and exercize: preferably a diet rich in proteins and complex carbohydrates but low in fats and simple carbohydrates, and at least 30 minutes of cardio workout 6 days a week, plus overall weight training to tone the rest of your body, at least 3 times a week.

Pushups are good. So (obviously) are situps. And of course, only eat when you are hungry. =]
I have 2 words for you: PILATES & GYROTONICS. Unlike crunches or sit ups, these methods tone your deeper abs - not just your surface muscles. You'll get cut in about 3 months if you do this and cut out all bread and processed sugars (quicker of course if you're a male).
