What should I wear to my first day volunteering at a free clinic? I have no clue!

Question: I want to be comfortable but look professional but not overdressed in contrast to the other employees. I am not a nurse but I have no idea what my job will be there. What do you suggest?Would jeans and a nice sweater be appropriate or too unprofessional?

I think that the jeans and sweater would do just fine. You should be comfortable and be prepared to be on your feet!
