Is it true that if you didn't blink when you sneezed, your eyes would pop out?!

Question: I thought I heard this once on a science channel, maybe I am wrong?
Answers:
Not at all. The reflex of shutting the eyes serves no obvious purpose: the nerves serving the eyes and the nose are closely related, and stimuli to the one often trigger some response in the other.

Other Answers:
Not true. Just an urban legend.
