does Garlic Nail polish works to help your nails grow?!

Question:
Answers:
If you are a nail bitter, then I image that a bitter flavored nail polish would prevent you from bitting, and hence, allow them to grow. But it won't in and of itself, increase the rate of growth.

(That being said, my brother was a cronic nail-bitter years ago and my parents would put a bitter clear polish on his nails to prevent it. He just excepted the challenge and decided to bite anyway)

Question - What makes your nails grow faster: garlic in clear nail
polish or parsley in clear nail polish? I read it in a magazine.

----------------------------
JD,

Sorry, nothing you can eat -- or apply topically -- will make your fingernails
(or hair or any body part) grow faster. What you read in the magazine is a
scam. The proof: Ask for the record of a detailed, double-blind, peer-reviewed
clinical study that proves the article's assertions. That's the way genuine
science is to be conducted. You will get no response, I am certain.
