Use the thinner bands and don't pull your hair back when it is still wet.

That's normal. Just spray your hair with water in that area and then comb it out. Also, it's a bit of a hint that you need to use better shampoo and conditioner if you can't just comb it out.
That happens to me too. I just end up putting my hair up again or putting half up cause its like a line accross ur head. And btw it is normal not weird or im weird too. the other person prbbly has like unnaturally straight hair and doesnt have to worry bout these things.
i wouldnt use rubber bands on your hair, it can also cause your hair to split and break. that can be ugly and unhealthy for your hair.
oo the best way is to leave your hair down for a long time, i always get them. if you tie your hair when it is wet, you ahouldnt do that because that really causes dents. but you can run a brush or your fingers for a long time. you can wet it first then brush it.
Is your hair thin ? Don't use rubber bands in your hair.Use ones that are made of elastic and covered with wool.
If you are already getting these marks on your hair then it would suggest that some damgage has already been done where too much pressure has been put onto the cutile so make sure that you are using good conditioners on your hair.
the best thing to tie your hair up with believe it or not is actually a piece of string because it has no tention on it due to the lack of elastic etc. then cover the string up with a pretty scarf or ribbon.
It sometimes takes a bit of practice but you will get to grips with it eventually.
