Looking for good health insurance, do you have any suggestions where to look?!
Question: My daughter has just turned 18, and can no longer be on our health coverage. I was wondering what kind of health insurance I should be looking for? She is a healthy person, who hasn't gone to the doctor much in the past. Do you have any ideas for me?

She can't be kept on ins. until 25? When son turned 18 I called and checked out many many insurance companies. Check with local Family Independence Agency - sometimes child can get assistance with medical (like medicaid).

It depends on what state you are in. Frankly, if I was her age I'd put the health insurance money in a money market account and forget paying out insurance premiums.
I am 55 and now pay $14,400 per year between my wife and myself. And, our deductible is $2,000 each. It's PPO, and I've had prostate cancer, but these premiums are killing me, not my health.
