Can I dye my hair immediately after I just dyed it?!

Question: When I dyed my hair it turned green on the ends.
Answers:
You should wait for 48 hours otherwise you run the risk of damaging your hair badly

No! Let is sit for a few days. You're going to lose your hair or make it REALLY dry and brittle. Good luck!
yea, if you want to go BALD>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>..

trust me I KNOW
I think you should wait a few days, if you do it right away it could damage your hair alot.
no
naw. keep it 4 bout 3 dayz or cut the ends
You should probably wait a few days unless you want green hair or it to all fall out!
No, wait a couple days. Green hair is better then no hair.
You are now in serious need of a professional. I strongly urge you to get to one first thing tomorrow. They have the proper chemicals to prevent further damage. If you do anything extra yourself at this point could result in disaster. You could burn your scalp at the very least and loose ALL your hair at the most. Good luck.
It can be very harmful to your hair, but I have done it plenty of times before and my hair is still ok. Just don't make a habit of it, lol.
go to a hairdresser and let him decide on that one!
Go see a professional.
you absolutely can if u need to! i did. black and right after that blue streaks. there was also that time i died it back to brown, then bleached streaks, then purpled the bleached streaks all in same night. it ok.
If the ends turned green, you can color it again but you need to let a professional do it before you damage it.
Actually on the hair dye box, it states your suppose to wait six months before dying it again.
I did just that thing once. I had a friend highlite my hair and when it was done..it looked like a had a bowl on my head. I ran to an all night store and got some coloring. My hair was weird colored and VERY dry til I could cut all the old stuff off. It took a few weeks to get it under control. I guess at the time it was worth it cause I did NOT want to be seen with a blonde bowl on my head.
Just shampoo some color in it. Mix it up like you always do and the just use it like a shampoo. Use a ash type color, like ash blond, or light ash brown..Make sure you get a good conditioner, because your hair will get really dry. Been there ..Done That
I think you should have those ends cut off then, and not re-dye your hair. It's already dry and damaged, you might lose it completely if you do another process to it.
I would not suggest it. like someone else said, it will destroy your hair by making it dried and frizzy. It will also destroy your body if you dye your hair too often. Hair dye is chemicals. and when you put it on, some of it goes through your skin and into your blood stream. And since your blood goes throughout your entire body, it will reach your organs and could cause things like kidney failure. and we don't want that!
youre not supposed to. But i bleached my hair twice in one sitting. and that was years ago. and i still have hair. i also colored it once a week for months on end, and every time i go to a salon they all oo and aaah over how healthy and soft my hair is. the colors they sell at the store generally pretty safe, and as long as you dont exceed the time limit, and be sure to condition i would feel safe about it.

if it turned green you were probably trying to go blonde or light brown, when you already had an ash blonde color on it from a previous coloring experience. avoid ash blonde. The core of the color remains in the hair for eons (pretty much until you cut it out, or strip it out, red will also be the same, although it covers over nicely) and it will show green on all your blonde hair colors after the first ash coloring (unless you use another ash color).

woohoo hair color!
Wait and talk to someone at a hair salon. Not only will you damage your hair, you'll probably get a chemical burn on your scalp. Not pretty. Why do you think I'm wearing a hat in my Avatar! :D
you my want to go to a professional and let them correct the problem depending on what you have already done to your hair it could fall out. a red rince usually takes the green out but it also depend on what color you died your hair and what color it was before you died you hair, and what product was used.
noooo def. not
I swear, some of the people that answer these things really have no idea what they're talking about. First of all, when you use a boxed dye from the store, they have letters and numbers corresponding to the colors. If you are using something that has "A" or says Ash anywhere on it, it will probably turn out with a greenish tint. Remember that your ends are the most porous because they are the most damaged, they have been exposed to the elements and everything else you've done to it the longest.

Color does not remove color. Even if you put another color on it, REGARDLESS OF HOW LONG YOU WAIT BEFORE DOING IT, it is not going to take the green out. You need some corrective coloring, and you need a professional. Only a stylist is going to be able to correct the problems you are having with the least amount of damage to your hair. Don't try to do it again yourself, trust me it can get MUCH worse than it is now. See a stylist, have him/her get you back to normal, and get a nice trim of your ends. Hopefully you've learned your lesson about using boxed color.

Oh, and the person that said all that crap about the chemicals from the hair color leaking into your bloodstream.that was complete ignorance. Anybody who believes that has got to be pretty gullible. Good Luck!
