Answers:
Definately an old wive's tale, which is not a true indication of pregnancy.

Never heard of such a thing. Were you cooking something that might have attracted the cat's sense of smell?
Superstitious stuff is absolute tosh anyway, but that's the biggest pile of crap I've ever heard! My cat's always at my door cos he only wants to come in the front door cos he's lazy - and I've not been pregnant in the last 10 years we've had him!

my god whatever next
No, I wouldn't believe it. The cat probably was just smelling something it liked in your house. If you're worried, get a pregnancy test, but don't worry about the cat.
I am from the South and I have heard that b4. I don't believe the wives tales but I do think they are funny!
Hey Girlfriend, Yeah, it sounds crazy but that is what they say..i didnt believe it at first but when i became pregnant, a cat stayed around my apartment everyday until i gave birth, and then afterwards it came back for about 6 months. Now they say that back in the day, someones baby died cause the cat got into the home and tried to "suck" the milk out of the baby's mouth. By doing that, the baby stopped breathing. It sounds crazy, and i was scared and always made sure the cat didnt walk in behind me as i was coming inside my house. It would even follow me to my car. i really dont believe the baby dying part but hey, i never had a cat hang around my house and as soon as i got pregnant, it appeared!.i dont know, go take a pregnacy test, u never know..good luck!
what an idiot
