does having gall bladder surgery have an affect on your menstruation?!

Question:
Answers:
No. Gall bladder surgery has no bearing on your period. One question I have is before surgery, or shortly after, did you have sex? I ask this because you have some of the signs of pregnancy. Don't mean to freak you out, but you may want to test just to be sure. There are things that can throw your period off, like stress, sickness, that sort of thing. That may be what is wrong. If you are really worried, talk to your doctor. There may be something else going on.

Not on mine!

(I'm a guy)
Nope. I had gallbladder surgery in 5th grade and it hasn't affect my menstration at all. All the gallbladder does is collect bile and send it down your digestive system. If the bile doesn't break down enough, it hardens into stones. Then the gallbladder has to be removed. It's near your stomach, nowhere near your ovaries.
Not on mine.I'm a woman
I dont think so. I had mine out when i was 24 and nothing changed.
I'm not sure but a couple people i know developed irritable bowel syndrome. i too have to get my gall stones out.
it doesn't affect my wife.she had her gall bladder removed a year or two ago..
There should not be any connection there. If you have a menstruation issue, is there possibility of pregnancy? Some women can be preg and still have some menstrual activity.
No, one has nothing to do with the other. You should not be experiencing what you're going through because you had a cholyscystectomy; something else is going on. Good luck and hope it all turns out the way you want.
