Im on a liquid antibiotic..is this normal?! PLEASE ANSWER!?!
Question: He put me on Zithromax, since yesterday afternoon after I took it *this is when I really noticed it* my pee has been relly really dark, kinda brown and pinkish *the medicine is pink*.is this normal with an antibiotic? *I was on one before that made my pee smell like the medicine and turned it a little pink.*

Dont worry, this happens with alot of medications. Your body is simply passing the excess it is not using. The body takes what it needs and passes the rest. If I take a multi-vitamin it often turns my wee fluro yellow. Its just the left overs.
If it continues after you have finished your course of antibiotics, see your doctor.

While dark urine may be associated with antibiotics, I would continue taking it. I would also drink a lot more water while taking the antibiotics. This will help you. Finally, one Monday rolls around, you can always call your Doc's office & ask the Nurse, just to be on the safe side.
