Is it better to use a good old fashion straight razor, or should i confrom to us!

A good old-fashioned straight razor will give you the best shave you have ever had in your life. IF you learn how to do it properly. If you sincerely try to learn (and put up with a couple of nicks the first time) you will never regret it, but if you want something fast and easy - go with the the new razors. You have to shave more often with the new razors, and you never get quite as smooth, but it all depends on your priorities.

It all depends on how well you shave. Even someone with 5 blades and safety coating and all that other crap can still screw it up. a straight razor is just as good as anything else, if you know how to use it.
