It works by putting a light-activated acid on your teeth. I personally don't recommend it, as it can cause burns on your gums and face, severe tooth sensitivity and discomfort, You are in the dental chair uncomfortable for one hour, and it is NOT cost effective (prices may range from $300-800). Not to mention it does not last very long. I do recommend using a carbamide-peroxide based bleach, either over the counter (Rembrandt is an excellent brand, just hard to use the trays they give you-Usually around $40 for a good brand.) or from your dentist (He will make the tray perfectly for you.-$100-200. And usually your will acheive the best results in two weeks, then just touch up (one dose) every 6 months to a year. You decide, but before you use anything make sure it was recommended by either the ADA or your dentist.
