Remove the ignorant nose piercing.
Get it checked out. It's probalby some type of pimple, but you're better safe than sorry.
get a smaller ring maybe. its probably just wear your nose piercing rubs up against your skin. i used to have one on my ear cartilage pierce. i was so annoying!
The bump could be there for many reasons. It depends on how long you have had the piercing. I also have my nose pierced along with 3 others and 7 tattoos. I actually also had the same problem. My tiny bump turned out to be scar tissue that had grown next to the piercing. I just went in manually myself and removed it with a tweezers. It was a bit painful, but not any worse than the piercing itself. If this is the case for you however, you probably won't want to do it yourself and might want to have a doctor look at it.

If your bump isn't scar tissue, it could be an infection or something worse. You could also try taking out the ring for a minute, going in manually and popping it and cleaning out the infection with soap and water. Put the ring back in and make sure you keep it clean and infection free.

However, most people would probably tell you my method of removing the bump is totally insane. In either case of infection or scar tissue, you should probably have a doctor look at it no matter what, unless of course you don't mind causing yourself bodily harm. ;=)

Another reason for the bump is your skin might be pushing the ring out. The skin isn't meant to be pierced by metal. The body thinks of it as a foreign object and will send it's warriors to attack it which often cause infection. I can't wear earrings because no matter what they always get infected sometimes even after having earrings in for more than 5 seconds. They hurt immediately but I don't have any problems with any of my other piercings. I think the reason for this is the skin on my ears just can't handle a piercing but it could also be the person who did the piercings didn't know what they were doing and didn't place them deep enough to prevent them from being pushed out which could be what is happening in your case.

I personally believe piercings are a spiritual thing and shouldn't be obtained in vain. Not everyone should get piercings and their bodies will tell them so by giving them messages such as pain while the piercing is in, infection, redness, swelling, etc. Sometimes, you can train your body into accepting the ring, but if these symptoms keep happening, you should probably listen to your body and just take the ring out.

With any piercing, you should always keep it clean. Even if the piercing is new, you should take it out every few days and clean it with rubbing alcohol. You should wash the outside of your nose gently with soap and water at least 3 times a day. You should also take a q-tip with some Neosporin on it and rub a tiny bit gently on the inside of your nose. It might feel funny, but it will prevent further infection. You should do this until the peircing heals. After it is completely healed you will still need to keep it clean but "probably" shouldn't have to clean it as much unless you are a dirty person, (not saying you are).

In the end you will have to ask yourself how much the nose ring is worth to you. Go see a doctor or talk to a "professional" piercer who has been doing it for a long time. Hope this has helped. Peace >-
