Any viable new treatments for mouth ulcers (canker sores)?!
Question: I've tried EVERYTHING.rinses, creams, "patches", etc.

Anbesol kills the pain & makes them almost tolerable for a time.
You need more citrus fruit in your diet, but not while you have a canker sore - that would be excruciatingly painful. Of course, if that's your "bag," -- I don't really want to know ..

the best thing I have used is taken Lysine pills.
Take them as soon as you feel one coming on.
I also use Zylactin for the pain (Kanka tastes better though).
Some strange remedies I have tried:
Tea bag.
Rubbing the insides of a liquid tylenol on it.
pouring salt on it. OOOOUCH!
Lysine has been best for me.
It is helpful to take them regularly anyhow.
i have only this product that to me seems to releive the pain..it s called: KANK-A it is made with BENZOCAINE. it numbs and protects sore from bacteria. you must dry the area before application. the price maybe around 7.00
