I was on the candida diet for a long time, and would have never gotten through it without Stevia. Stevia is a natural sweetener that does not feed the Candida. STevia is 300X sweeter than sugar. It does not lose its properties when you cook with it. It is calorie free, carb free and does not raise the glycemic index. Add it plain yogurt along with cinnamon and you have an excellent dessert. I have used it in iced tea, coffee, etc. It is great. I found that the KAL brand pure stevia is by far the best. It does not have an aftertaste. The candida diet is very tough to stick with and the stevia was a lifesaver for me.
