Does bottled water cause gallstones?!

Question:
Answers:
no a fatty diet causes gallstones. Some types of water can cause kidney stones but not gall stones

Other Answers:
Not that I know of.
Most gallstones are made of cholesterol, and there isn't anything in bottled water that would cause them to develop.

BTW, I have noticed that there is a common confusion between gallstones and kidney stones. You don't ever "pass" gallstones, and if you did you probably wouldn't know as they would pass through the intestines. You do pass kidney stones and as those do go through the urinary tract they can be very painfully obvious when it happens.

However bottled water, even from mineral springs, shouldn't cause kidney stones. They've found that dietary calcium, which is the primary component of most kidney stones, doesn't make it more likely to get them.
