can a hernia or a hernia operation affect erectile function?!

Question: Is it permanent? Can it be treated?
Answers:
I have heard that is can happen but it is usually only temporary while the site is healing. I have also heard of low sperm count problems, but this is not as common as the hernia operation procedure has gotten more high-tech. My son had an inguinal hernia operation when he was four. His left testicle kept moving back and forth between the scrotum sack and his abdomen. We had an excellent urologist do the surgery and he has not had any trouble since. He is now nine and you can barely see the scar. Be sure to ask your doctor about any concerns.

Other Answers:
No it does not.
Those are two completely seperate issues and one shouldn't have any effect on the other that I know of.
ask your doctor
