Yes, it is pretty out of style. If you really like red lipstick and blue eyeshadow, I suggest a brigth red lipstick for an old hollywood look, and a very, very light sheer blue with a bit of sparkle, almost a white.
that is true but every1 in my skool has ther own style and ther are lots of different social groups with different styles but i think that the cutest style 4 myself if ur pale is a light pinkish purple wit a little blue then a very light sparkly pink lip gloss

Sorry to say yes it is, we are not in the 80s anymore. the best advice i can give you is go for a light color eyeshawdow, and mix it with the a nude lips gloss or lipstick( not to bright) and NEVER do the daek red lipstick.
Blue eyeshadow can be cute if you blend it right.

Dark red is almost always a no-no unless you can pull it off like Marilyn.
