Question: i need to do a report on polio vaccine, and i dont know where to get info, any ideas?

Imagion if one out of 30 I believe was the ratio of your friends during childhood suddenly could not walk any more or died. Many others becoming deatly ill and often suffering permanent side effects. That is what polio was until the vaccine.

I used to work with a guy who had it. He was one of the last children to get it. He told me they came out with a vaccine that didn't work, and pulled it from the market, and in the few months before the corrected vaccine came out, he came down with it. He wasn't paralyzed but he had a lot of trouble doing things--he didn't have much fine motor control. He said basically it was as if his muscles were totally worn out.
