High fiber diet, drink plenty of water, get at least 7 hours of sleep per night, do not use table salt or salt while cooking, stay away from salt processed food (and McDonald's fries), exercise and keep weight down, avoid stressful situations, avoid alcohol, take medication if necessary.

Eat less salt, and junky food.
