Simply watch your carbohydrate intake.Look at the labels(yes I know that's boring)But,just once look at the container say on a soda pop can, what do you see? Most likely on that one can you will find from40-50 carbs.just on one can of soda pop.Your body was not made to process all the carbs it's most likely getting in one day. Try drinking only water as your beverage for a week or two and see what happens. How many carbs will you not get just by checking this one item. Then after a few weeks, start checking the containers of food you buy.Now look on the side of the can or box,how many carbs in in this item per serving? Cut back your carbs and you will most likely lose weight.

continue to work out and eat better, get a friend to be your work out buddy, its alot harder to skip it if your both doing it and you can help each other along and have more fun.
Exercise. Just add exercise to your lifestyle and you should see results. Don't change your diet, but if you begin adding daily exercise to your life you will lose weight.

(Don't use exercise as an excuse to eat more. That ruins the benefit.)
Time to grow up. you need to eat right and exercise. Your only 17, wait until you 30. I you do it right your self esteem will go way up and your whole life will change.
The diet in the book at http://www.amazon.com/gp/produ. is really effective, and people who go on it still feel full and fed.

but you have to go vego and quit eating flour while you're on it
Eat about 5 small meals per day at about 350 calories each. Eat as many vegetables as you want. I have maintained a 45 pound weight loss for 4 years by just following the food pyramid, increasing my fiber intake, drinking lots of water and exercising... You won;t lose the 30 by June by doing this, but you will be healthier. If you lose 30 by June, you'll be starving and crabby and no one will want to be around you for long. Go slow, learn to love yourself, and do it the slow way, you;'ll get more out of it. The first weight loss book that made any sense to me was Bob Greene's get with the Program..
Proper nutritian and excersise will yield you the best results. If you simply excersise without watching your food intake you will not see the results you want. Also, a key point is to burn more calories than you eat. You can lose a lot of weight without starving. The key will be in the foods you eat - if you are used to eating big portions of rich and fatty foods you will need to reduce that. If you are drinking soda, you may consider cutting that down as one can of soda can have 100+ calories - if you drink 5 cans per day thats 500 calories -

Good luck
If you don't want to try anorexia, what about bulimia? I didn't like it so I went to barely eating, but bulimia worked for my sister and if you try it for just a few weeks you might get addicted to it and then you'll get skinny for sure
whats worked for me is that i drink a lot of water and walk alot and work 30 mins a day eat 6 small meal a day don't over eat watch what you eat don't eat after midnight your food you eat will not go anywhere that where the fat sit in your stomach and that's fat comes up on you not good, this is a fool proof plan it works oh ya eat alot of fruit to good luck
I am 18 years old I am 5'2" and weight 165-170. I am having trouble losing weight too. I work out and am eating right. It takes time. Just remember muscle weighs more than fat. Good luck!
