Well I dont know about crabs, but you should add carbs. The best time to add carbs. to your diet is after a nice work out. Remember, all things in moderation..

If you aren't taking carbs post workout, you have only done major damage. Simply put, after a workout your body is depeleted of glycogen and before your muscles can repair and grow they need that glyocgen back. The best way: simple carbs. Ideally your post worout drink should contain double the carbs then protein.
Mine for example: 3 cups of chocolate milk, 1 scoop protein powder --> about 80grams of carbs and 40grams of quality protein.
