If you have 6 weeks to lose weight do it properly. Be careful cause if you lose too much weight the dress will not fit nicely.

For the next 6 weeks go on a 1200 calorie plan where you eat 5-6 small meals a day. Here is a menu plan to assist:
Break - cereal w skim (low go type please)
Snack 1 - apple
Lunch - multigrain sandwich w 50g lean meat and salad only
Snack 2 - low gi yogurt
dinner - 120g lean meat grilled & green leafy vegetables

Do not eat dinner after 6pm. Drink 3 litres of water.

Exercise - you need to do at least 6 sessions per week for 1.5 hours a day. I use the following:

Never do weights two days in a row.
3 cardio sessions - running or spin or boxing
If your classes fall less than 1.5 hours do more cardio before and after. It is when your body is totally exhausted will you see some great results quickly. Go hard!

Never eat carbs within 2 hours or within 1 hour after exercise. Plan your meals and be totally dedicated. You will get results within the first week of around 1kg min. You could lose up to 6-9kgs within this time frame.

Be strong losing weight is a mental journey. Note that to maintain you need to continue exercising and go to 1500 cals per day but workout 3-4 times per week. Be careful it's really addictive!

Eat an apple before each meal. The fiber helps fill you, so you eat less and it keeps your system moving so to speak. Don't eat anything after 7:00 pm, and substitute seltzer or plain water for juice and soda.
Im not sure i have the right answer to that question but you can cut ur meals in half or drink slim fast shakes they taste good and they work (not all the time though)
