Are you oppose to donate your organs after death? Why or why not?!

Question:
Answers:
no, if I am in the brain dead situation I would want them to harvest my organs after my family says goodbye. It would beat the way they stop feeding you and let you starve to death.

Other Answers:
no, cause when i get to heaven- i`m getting a glorified body.not ahuman one
well if any of them are any good id be happy to give them to someone else im dead i dont need them! when im dead i couldnt care less what happend to my body.but i would prefer to have a few organs taken outta me just to make sure im dead coz id hate to be burried alive or burnt alive!
I will donate my organs, I wont be needing them. they might as well save a life than rot in the ground.
Not at all. After I am dead, I have no use for my body. If it can be of better use to be used either for donating organs, scientific research or both, I am very willing to let them use it. What do I care..I am dead!
:)
Craftgirl - if you are getting a glorified body. then what use do you have of the human one?
I'm a doner. Once I'm gone, I'd be happy for someone else to benefit from my organs. After all, I don't need them anymore.
if i'm dead as dead. i won't feel anything anyway.
No, because someone here may need them to continue their journey here. Since mine would be over and I got to live, I would someone else to have that chance also.
Yes, because they have to keep you "ALIVE" to keep the organs working and I feel that is cruel to remove the organ and your body knows that something is wrong. Also, who is to say that you are really "DEAD" Just suppose some person with lots of money needs an organ, who is to say that the doctor won't take the bribe and falsify info so he can get the money?

Just my way of thinking.
Nope..Im all for it. I figure dont need them anymore might as well give them to somebody who does.
No I'm not opposed! It's like one of the best forms of recycling! There are so many people out there who wouldn't be around today if it wasn't for an organ doner!
It's not like you need them after you are gone anyway, so why not give them to someone - it is like the most selfless gift you can ever give - the gift of life!
Just think, if you are an organ doner - you could be the reason that a dying person gets another chance at life! What better reason could there be to donate!
Yes. If a loved one or I needed an organ I would hope that one would be available soon enough. I have discussed my plans with my husband, his mom, my mom and my sister. I have also indicated my intentions on my driver's license. The decision will be made by my nearest living relative so I hope they honor my wishes.
If an individual did not die of cancer or some other disease that prevents donation, organs should be donated. I am a firm believer in donation. If someone can benefit from an early death, why not donate. There are thousands of people on organ transplant lists and will die well before their time because healthy organs are not donated.

There is a long screening process to even be considered for transplant because there is such a long wait for organs. Most dialysis patients have to wait 5 or more years unless they find a living donor. They weed out the patients who would not survive or who are so non compliant during their current treatment.

I agree with all those going to heaven.
If any of my organs can save the life of another human being then count me in! God Bless us all.
