Does the climate can interfer on mood of people?!

Question: I am hearing about the climate interfering on mood of people,e.g.,lots of depression cases in european and scandinavian countries mainly in winter time.On the other hand, some researchers are telling that people living in hot lands(tropical countries) use to fight more due the heat.
Answers:
I have heard that the barometric pressure cause headaches and moodiness in people when it gets high. Also exessive heat would effect ones ability to function normally.
